I'm a former US Merchant Marine Captain (seriously) and spent a majority of my 20+ year career in the maritime domain. I'm also a former BCG DV consultant, Founder (launched 2 orgs), Teacher & Tech Nerd, who after many years went back to my roots, putting an emphasis on innovation within the maritime and supply chain industries.

 

I dabble in startups as a mentor & advisor and sit on the boards of different organizations pushing for change in an antiquated world. I've become a global trade nerd watching the world unfold, whether it was reporting on the Suez Canal blockage and global port congestion issues, commenting on the Panama Canal or tracking politicians on billionaire's yachts (did I say that out loud?) I got to also simultaneously assist multi-national businesses become more efficient in their operations by leveraging big data.
